What to expect during the process:

The process of finding the right fit for a child at any level, whether traditional or therapeutic, is a function of getting to know the child and family and what makes the individual unique and distinguishing that student from those in his or her same competitive pool. What are the passions, the successes, the interests and values of the student? Given my knowledge and reputation within the educational community, I can determine what schools, programs and settings would be the best match. This process is a group effort, with the consultant, the parents, the student, all actively involved. Family visits to schools are very helpful to refine the goals and expectations for the student. I can orchestrate these visits and often tailor the campus tours to fit with the student’s interests.
